I work part-time for ASOS as a machine learning scientist, and part-time towards a PhD at Imperial College London (in the StatML.IO CDT, jointly with University of Oxford). Outside of work I enjoy a wide range of activities and projects, including playing the flute, cycling, and drawing my own maps.
Before starting work at ASOS, I spent four marvellous years at Imperial College London studying mathematics and computer science (JMC), specialising in machine learning and statistics. I was actively involved in student life, having volunteered as a society officer and a student rep for years, and had an internship and a placement. I was also fortunate enough to be recognised on both my academic and all-round achievements, bagging a few awards on the way.
